Useful back-up for Olympus DSLRs August 25, 2010 Rappasol (FL, USA) xD cards are not the fastest nor are they very practical. Myself I find them too small and too easy to lose.
br /
br /On the other hand, Olympus DSLRs come with 2 card slots, 1 for CF and 1 for xD. getting a 2GB xD is cheap insurance that if you ever go out with your camera and left the CF at home by mistake, you still have 2GB in the camera.
br /Also, in case you shoot more than you expected at an event, the extra 2GB can be a life saver.
br /
br /Finally, I have read of people who were stopped by over zealous security guards or police when shooting buildings and when requested to delete images accepted to do so and presented the empty xD as evidence.
Olympus M+ 2GB Flash Memory Card August 19, 2010 JEFFREY SMITH (Los Angeles, CA USA) This picture memory card does its job perfectly at a very good price! Good for Olympus and other fine SLR cameras.
memory card August 10, 2010 Don This was the wrong card for the new 8010 ... a friend has a model from 3 years ago ... it uses this card...... I had to go to a camera dealer to find the proper card.
Excellent memory card July 25, 2010 Noel Benadom (Florida, USA) Excellent memory card. Images are saved quickly and results are high quality. Many Olympus DSLRs require XD cards in order to take panorama shots. The Olympus XD card was created not only for these cameras, but others that accept the XD card.
