* No trimming required, fit directly on your LCD screen. * Just clean your LCD screen first, peel off the white back of the protector to stick, Done! * Easy to install and bubbles free, unlike plastic protector which always gives you bubbles between the protector and the screen. * No adhesive backing at the LCD screen, only at the border of the film for clearness. * Can be removed and reinstall, without leaving ugly residual on your LCD screen. * Use a thin plastic business card or similar item (the plastic package of this protector could be used as the tool) to slide around the edge of the screen to remove it. * Do not pull or use fingernails to lift the four corners of the screen protector as it may break the glass protector, hurt your fingers and/or damage the camera.

Make sure every thing is super clean prior to application. It was easy to put on. It only adheres around the edge not directly to the LCD

If you want to protect your GF1's LCD from scratches, this is the answer. The Glass is clear and feels very solid. It has the adhesive behind the black borders, so be careful not to touch it when you install. Also, even though the instruction tells you not to wipe or brush the inside surface of the protective glass before installing, I highly suggest that you at least check it first before installing. I had to reinstall mine after finding a small fiber stuck inside. Overall, great product! would definitely use this type of protection for any of my future cameras.

Great build quality. Probably great protection, but outdoors on a sunny day, I can't see the image on the LCD screen - I spend all my time looking at a reflection of myself. The GGS screen protector really needs an anti-glare surface. I have my GF1 set up to make the LCD brighter in a bright ambient light situation, but its no where near bright enough.

br /My Canon digital camera has a Boxwave anti-glare screen protector on its LCD screen and side by side with the GF1 - it's no contest. I can see the Canon's LCD, I can't see the GF1's LCD screen. The Boxwave anti-glare protector probably does not offer the physical protection of the GGS screen, but I can use the camera outdoors. Utility trumps protection.

This is a solid, one piece LED protector. It is not a thin, peel on
br /type. It's easily removable if installed correctly. Recommended.
